Caring - At the Heart of the Therapeutic Work

Theme: Professional Education

Psychological Forum offers a series of webinars on Caring - At the Heart of the Therapeutic Work.

Caring refers to the ability and willingness to notice, value, and act for the well-being of others. In therapeutic contexts, it is central to the relationship between therapist and client, where genuine concern can create safety, trust, and support for personal growth. Despite its importance, caring is rarely explored in depth during training, even though research shows it is a well-studied, fundamental aspect of human relationships and clinical work.
